The Most Economically Sound Option for Data Center Expansion
Silver Linings Systems Data Center Modules are individually powered and cooled cabinets into which you can place servers and complementary support equipment to accommodate your current IT capacity needs while creating an economical platform for future growth.
Universal Equipment Storage
Racking can hold any brand of server and/or other types of IT equipment as needed. Standard racks are cabinet-style enclosures (4 @ 24”/180U) or 4-post (5@19”/225U) open-face style.
– Up to 250U custom configurations are available.
– “Half” Data Center Modules are also available.
– Permits creating server density to match user need, and mixing and matching brands and types of IT equipment.
Horizontally Movable Equipment Base
Racks can easily be moved from the left to right side of a Data Center Module allowing two-sided service access while maintaining maximum rack depth.
High Strength Steel Base
Supports full equipment loading. Permits Data Center Modules to be maneuvered with fork lifts as easily as a standard loaded skid. Space for water containment is beneath the flooring and below all electronic equipment.
Coolant Pipes beneath Steel Flooring
Cooling liquids contained within a metal barrier beneath electronic equipment, preventing accidental contamination and enhancing operational safety.
Structural Square-Tube Steel Skeleton
Strength and structural rigidity whether Data Center Modules are housed in a custom external shelter or a data center building. Aluminum option available.
Cooling System: Multi-fan Panel
Multiple high efficiency, low energy-use fans are programmed to respond automatically to changes in cooling requirements and resistance to air flow. Initiates “push” phase of cooling method.
